We are a not for profit trade association established in Alberta in 2001 with the intent of promoting and improving the painting & coating trade in the province. Our members provide coating, painting and abrasive cleaning services to the industrial, commercial, and institutional construction sectors.

The Association is involved in union negotiations; providing educational services and opportunities to our members; acting as a liaison between industry and government groups; and establishing industry standards.

The Association is governed by a Board of Directors. Membership in the Association is open to any unionized coating contractor who carries out business in the Province of Alberta and any manufacturers or suppliers of coating, painting or abrasive cleaning supplies.

The Association conducts quarterly meetings which are open to all members. The purpose of the meetings is to discuss industry related topics, provide educational speakers, and to create proactive strategies to maintain and grow this industry. The Association works jointly with the union to ensure that qualified workers are available.
